Fuel properties according to ENplus-Briquettes

ENplus-certified briquettes have to conform to the limit values according to the international standard DIN EN ISO 17225-3 (2014) for the classification of wood briquettes. The following tables show the relevant properties and their limit values in the respective quality classes. Quality class B of the standard was not adopted for ENplus-Briquettes, because the briquettes of this quality class do not conform to the requirements of 1. BImSchV with regard to the allowed ash content.

All properties listed in both tables will be verified during initial certification and during subsequent recertifications every three years by an independent testing laboratory. In the remaining two years only the essential briquette properties from the first table are verified.
