Certification costs

The costs for the certification according to the schedule of fees consist of the following:

  • License fees depending on the volume; license fees are to be paid on all sold certified briquettes,
  • Company fee,
  • Product fee.

In addition, there are costs for the sampling, which are settled directly with the commissioned listed sampler.
The license fee, the company fee and the product fee are invoiced annually by DEPI.

Note: The fees for the first year of certification are based on the sales volume estimated by the certified company for the current year (starting from the date of certification). In the following years, on the date of certification, the estimated yearly sales volume is invoiced according to the applicable schedule of fees, minus or plus the compensation amount for the preceding year. The compensation amount results from the difference between estimated and real production volume and the fee applicable in that year.
